Value Change Look, moving forward is not really about technology at all - it is about enabling change. Change is not driven by technology, although it may be enabled by it. What really needs to happen is to understand what are the core decision values of an organization - the principles. However, principles are often in conflict (e.g. a customer vs minimize cost focus are in direct opposition.) Prioritizing these values against a consistent view of an organization is key. In this way, employees can make decisions in a uniform and consistent fashion, aligned with executive intent. Without this prioritization, you end up with the “Bible approach” - pick chapter and verse to support any decision you want to make. The result is organizational schizophrenic behavior based on individual agendas - often detrimental to corporate goals.
